Meet Greg Pizzoli

Join us at the Chester County Library and meet children's author and illustrator Greg Pizzoli!

Thursday, November 6 is “Speak Up for Libraries” Day, a statewide event and will place the spotlight on Pennsylvania authors and illustrators and the important role our libraries have in the lives of our citizens. “Speak Up for Libraries” will feature programs and events in libraries around the Commonwealth, where guest authors and illustrators will share the importance and personal impact libraries have had on their lives.

Greg Pizzoli, author and illustrator of Number One Sam and The Watermelon Seed, will be speaking up for Pennsylvania libraries when he makes an appearance at the Chester County Library on November 6 at 10:30 a.m. Children ages 3 and up and their parents are invited to join us as Mr. Pizzoli talks about his books, his career and his passion for libraries. When asked about his participation in “Speak Up for Libraries”, Mr. Pizzoli replied, “Libraries are community builders—it’s a place where everyone can visit and learn, search, discover ,and, of course, READ! I visit my local libraries often, and I always find something new.”

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Please click here to register children and adults individually.

See you at the library!
